We asked Giovanni~ ‘What was it that lead you to seek our services? What was your challenge’?
“We launched an OKR system a few years ago, but realised we could be optimising the process. The decision to rejuvenate the programme was an easy one, and fully backed by the leadership team. To ensure we got it right the second time around, we opted to find professionals to help our team.”
We asked Giovanni~ ‘What work did we do together’?
“There Be Giants gave us a refresher on OKRs. After that we implemented the methodology with a far more structured approach and by the time they left, we had concrete and actionable items in place. Great progress was made during the workshops and the ongoing remote support also really helps.”
We asked Giovanni~ ‘What outcomes were achieved? What was the impact on growth’?
“As a large organisation, aligning goals and priorities across teams, departments and locations, in a transparent way, is a top priority. The percentage of the organisation who now understand and are able to contribute to our goals increases by the day. We are setting a new pace of work, talking more and focusing on what’s important. Our confidence in using OKRs to achieve our goals has increased and continues to do so.”
We asked Giovanni~ ‘What would you say to someone like yourself, facing the same challenge you had’?
“Don’t hesitate and just get started! With hindsight, we most certainly would brought in the experts sooner. We have experienced a lot of growth over the years and the deployment of OKRs sooner would have made a lot of things simpler. A lot of discussion is required, so it’s best to start small. We’re currently closing our 1st quarter and are extremely happy with how things are unfolding.”
